HRSA Funded grant for PRIDE Cohort 9 participant Dr. Francesca Duncan
We are pleased to share the news that Francesca C. Duncan, M.D. M.S., Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Occupational Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine has received a grant for a pilot proposal by the HRSA funded Primary Care Reaffirmation for Indiana Medical Education (PRIME) Program in the amount of $100,000 to support my lung cancer disparities research.
Dr. Francesa Duncan as also been named Co-Chair of the Equity and Inclusion Committee at Indiana University
Dr. Duncan said, "I am excited about this new role as Co-chair of Equity & Inclusion in the Department of Medicine, which will afford me the opportunity to support ongoing efforts in this space, as well as bring innovative ideas to continue to improve on equity and inclusion. I want to help make Indiana University a medical community that embraces diversity and commits to the development of a culture of inclusion and ensuring there is a pathway for everyone to succeed."
