To help create awareness and increase opportunities in global learning and research at the University of Arizona, students and faculty from across campus have joined to organize and host the conference.

The 10-week health-care focused internship program provides UA graduate and undergraduate students with varying experience in research and knowledge of border community health, with valuable insight and hands-on research training from UA border experts.

P-MAP illustrates the college’s strong emphasis on increasing the diversity of its students and addressing the shortage of physicians from under-represented minority groups, particularly Native Americans.
